User can achieve precise fastening control through the 3-speed power selection switch that is 0 to 900/0 to 1000/0 to 1800 RPM and 0 to 1800/0 to 2000/0 to 2200 IPM for a wide range of applications. This electronically-controlled BL™ brushless motor efficiently uses energy to match torque and RPM to the changing demands of the application. The Star Protection Computer Controls™ technology allows the Star Protection-equipped tool and battery to exchange data in real time and monitor conditions while in use to safeguard against over-loading, over-discharging and over-heating. Wrench has built-in LED light with pre-glow and afterglow illuminates the work area. Tool features electric brake for increased productivity and easy to operate forward/reverse switch. Compact and ergonomic wrench has rubberized soft grip handle to offer enhanced comfort on the job. The 9 Inch long impact wrench works well with Makita 18 Volt Lithium-Ion batteries with a Star symbol. Tool hook aids in securing the tool while not in use.
