Makita 7in Concrete Surface Planer with Dust Extraction Shroud
The Makita 7 Inch concrete surface planer is powered by a 15 Amp motor that rotates at 6600 RPM for optimum performance. Soft start suppresses start-up reaction for smooth start-ups and enhanced gear life. Dust extraction shroud is provided to capture dust while working in concrete surfacing applications. Anti-restart protection is designed to avoid motor start up in the on-power switch position after a power disruption. Loop handle can be held at multiple positions for enhanced comfort in various orientations. Protective zig-zag varnish seals the armature so that no dust or debris enters. The aluminum gear housing offers excellent gear alignment and smoother transmission for enhanced durability. The spiral bevel gears offer smoother rotations and a more efficient transfer of energy. Rubberized back handle offers enhanced operator comfort. Automatic carbon brush cut-off safeguards motor from damage for longer tool life.
