Makita 40V max XGT Compact Router Kit

The Makita brushless cordless compact router kit contains a compact router, rapid charger, 2.5 Amp-Hours battery, two spanner wrenches, 1/4 Inch collet, straight guide, template guide and a tool bag. Router is powered by a brushless motor that delivers a power of up to 1/2 hp and produces an operating speed of 10,000 to 31,000 rpm that can be controlled by a speed dial. Motor can be controlled electronically to match the torque and speed of the router. Electronic speed control ensures a stable operating speed even under heavy loads. On/off button consists of a separate lock button to prevent unwanted access. Soft start mechanism ensures precise results and smooth start-ups. Dual LED lights brighten up the work space in dark conditions. Ergonomic design of the tool allows the user to use it in small spaces and the rubber grip on the handle prevents vibration. Quick-release cam lock mechanism facilitate smooth depth adjustments and easy base installation or removal. XPT technology gives good resistance to water and dust in harsh conditions. Rack-and pinion adjustments ensures the user to operate the tool under the right operator settings. Aluminum construction offers added strength and durability. Bit can be changed or removed easily with a spindle lock. XGT battery starts the engine immediately and prevents the hassles of pull starts. Batteries have an impact-resistant construction to secure the tool in harsh conditions. Dual fan design of the charger cools down the battery and circuit board to prolong the tool life and the digital display indicates the battery level. Built-in chip of the charger helps in monitoring the current, voltage and temperature for efficient charging.
