This Makita 18 Volt sub-compact impact wrench is precisely designed to offer a new level of convenience, efficiency and productivity. The 1/2 Inch square drive impact wrench is perfect for working in tight spaces and for overhead applications. It is precisely designed to provide increased run time, power and speed control for unmatched performance. This wrench has a Makita-built brushless motor, which offers 155 ft-lb of fastening torque and 245 ft-lb of nut-busting torque. User can achieve precise fastening control through the 2-speed power selection switch that is 0 to 1300/0 to 2400 RPM and 0 to 2000/0 to 3600 IPM for a wide range of applications. This electronically-controlled BL™ brushless motor efficiently uses energy to match torque and RPM to the changing demands of the application. Convenient 1/2 Inch square drive facilitates for quick and easy socket changes. Reverse rotation auto-stop mode of wrench aids to stop rotation and impact when fastener is loosened adequately. The Star Protection Computer Controls™ technology allows the Star Protection-equipped tool and battery to exchange data in real time and monitor conditions while in use to safeguard against over-loading, over-discharging and over-heating. Wrench has dual LED light to illuminate the work area. Ergonomically designed handle with rubberized soft grip assures superior comfort, thus minimizing operator fatigue. This tool works well with Makita 18 Volt Lithium-Ion batteries with a Star symbol.
